The Mysterious Smile
Mona Lisa. One of the most famous paintings in the world. Painted by one of the most famous artist in his time, Leonardo da Vinci. The painting has been best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world. The painting is thought to be a portrait of Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. The painting has a lot of good features, but the most thing that stands out is her smile.
The smile's mystery has baffled many people throughout the years. Many people taught that it was just a small smile that hides the woman's true feelings inside her ready to come out. Others taught that she has some kind of syndrome that makes her muscles in her mouth to have a shape like her smile. But finally, there was a scientific explanation. The oil painting was giving us an illusion on our brains, one side of the brain shows us she is smiling, while the other side shows us that she is serious.
No matter what the condition or reason behind the mysterious smile, it is still one of the famous paintings in the world. The smile has been questioned all throughout its existence, but now, we already have an explanation. Whatever the secret behind the painting, nothing is gonna change its importance in art history. It will always be remembered with the smile that changed history.

Once in a Lifetime
If I would ever have a conversation
with a famous person once, I’d choose Albert Einstein. Because he is one of the
most recognized people in the world today. Even though his own body is now
gone, his legacy is still living and affecting many lives and inspires a lot of
people to work hard and earn what they want.
I would ask him about his thoughts on
2012, I would laugh if he would answer that the people would still be stupid. I
will also ask him if he thinks if the smartest person in the world is him, and
I think that he would feel humble and say someone else. And I will also ask him
tips to be smart and to work hard. I will also ask about tips or suggestions
about inventions that he thinks would exist at 2030 or beyond, and I hope he
answers time machine.
Albert Einstein inspired me to work
harder to get what I want. He was known for his good philosophy and his good
mind. Someday, I want to be like Albert.

A Student's Inferno
Inferno is the first part of Dante Alighieri's 14th-century epic poem Divine Comedy. It is followed by Purgatorio and Paradiso. It is an allegory telling of the journey of Dante through Hell,
guided by the Roman poet Virgil.
In the poem, Hell is depicted as nine circles of suffering located within the
Earth. But it can also be depicted in other forms, just like for a student.
The first circle would be about
bullying. This is where big guys will knock you out with their fists and kicks
that will make you go down. The second circle will be about allowance. This is
one of the problems that students face and they often ask for, high school
students mostly use them for foods, going to gimmicks and buying other stuffs.
The third circle will be about Teachers. There are some teachers who are very
strict and there are some teachers who are hard to understand to when they
teach, which is really frustrating to the students because some can’t learn
fast. The fourth circle is about Oral Participation. This is hard because some
can’t think very fast when the teacher calls them, so their brain messes up
with some other information.
The fifth circle will be about
Homeworks or Assignments. This where students panic and cram. Sometimes because
they also have other work to do, or they are just plain lazy. The sixth circle
is about Quizzes. Quizzes are one of the hardest things to do because if other
subjects also have quizzes, the information in your brain will rumble and
forget the important things. The seventh circle is about Projects. Projects are the hardest things to
do on free time. Because they are very time consuming and requires a lot of
work. The eighth circle is about Periodic Test. This is the hardest thing to do
for the whole year. You do it individually without any help. And the ninth
circle is about the Final Grade. It very thrilling to know what your average is
and find out if your parent/guardian will scold you or not.
Our Conversation
A good conversation starts with a good
partner to be talked to. I decided to talk to Ian Gabriel Santos. He is a good
talker and we have many conversations that last long. He is been a good
influence in my life because he has been my best friend for three years. In
good and bad times, we stood for each other and that’s why we are friends.
Me: Hey, Igi!
Igi: Why?
M: Nothing, just want to talk.
I: Oh, ok.
M: How is your studies?
I: Its good, how about yours?
M: Average, but its fine.
I: Oh, I’m sorry, our teacher is
coming. Let’s just talk later.
M: Oh, ok.
A small talk could last a few minutes,
or even a few hours. But with that time spent. There is no denying, that every
time you spent it with someone, its called bonding.
